Sunday's Thought!

Be thankful. The world seems to be going crazier and crazier these days with people being unhappy about just about everything. No one seems to be thankful anymore. Since we live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, we have a lot for which to be thankful.

Yesterday morning I walked into my studio to find it all brightly lit up by the morning sunlight. Also, it was warm and comfy for a cold November day. God had prepared the morning for me. With the Thanksgiving deadline looming quickly, I got busy starting my day. However, I realized this was God's sharing with me a blessing in my new studio. I stopped and prayed a thankful prayer to God for this blessing. I had a sunroom studio before we moved to the country which I have missed. I loved the sunlight which came into the room with a view overlooking the backyard with the field behind it. God was reminding me that He was taking care of me for which I am thankful.

Blessings to be thankful can be found everywhere in life. I'm not talking about having fancy cars or homes, having careers making great salaries, or anything like that. The blessings I am talking about are much simpler such as a call from a friend, having food to eat, having a job, a ray of sunshine, knowing God is always with you, seeing a beautiful flower, a walk through the woods on a crisp cool fall day and the list could go on.

When we take time to be thankful for the simple things in our lives, we become more content and happier than if we are always constantly trying to get ahead or always complaining about everything.

For me, I am thankful for quite a bit in my life. I have to say that I am most thankful to God for taking care of me throughout my life. His Love for me always comes through when I seem to be having the most challenges with my health. I never cease to be amazed at that. He always seems to know when I need His Arms of Comfort wrapped around me too. I am very thankful for His Love and all He has done for me especially things I don't even know about!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
