Railroad Photography! Old Trestle Pillars

Old Trestle Pillars
"Old Trestle Pillars"
(C) Allen Pearson Photography

A trip to Shepherdstown, WV, on a day that went from cloudy to sunny to partly cloudy to snowing last winter was to visit the James Rumsey Park and Monument and Shenandoah Junction. I am always paying attention to the railroad bridge located south of this trestle pillar which was built to replace this old bridge to carry the trains across the Potomac. So, I created an image of it.

My railroad photography and other works are found at www.allenpearsonphotography.com.
