My wife, my dog, and I kicked off my railfanning season with an excellent trip to Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark in Altoona, Pennsylvania. I discovered this to be an excellent place to watch trains a few years ago. My first trip here was such an awesome adventure, I decided to make a yearly trip here! Though next year, I might have to make two trips, one to end my current season in early Spring and again next Fall to start up again.

When I go out railfanning locally, my dog Noah always goes with me. He loves going places with me and I love having his companionship! I have gotten so used to his traveling with me that I don't like to go without him. Since the weather gets a little too hot for him in late Spring and early Summer, we typically do not go out much during the summer- this year, even locally.

My dog Noah and I are making our plans to head out around once or twice a month to watch the trains go through wherever we are! Please follow our adventures by subscribing to this blog. To follow Noah's adventures, subscribe to: from The Dog's Paw!
