|"Church Among the Trees"|

Finally, my work is in order and I am finding time to relax and enjoy life a little more. I embarked on a project to change my photography website and blog to new websites and URLs. Though at the onset, I was thinking that I had it all organized and would follow through fairly easily, it didn't go as well as I would have liked.
By mid-February, I had contacted everyone I knew to contact and was pretty frustrated. After all, it was nearly two months of trying something and wait at least 48 hours. If that didn't work, try something else. Wait again and repeat.
While I was waiting, I did some "fine-tuning" to my other websites. I needed to update a few affiliate advertisements, my reading list, and various other tasks. Once I finished "fine-tuning" an area of a website, I would quickly find another which needed to be done. Those repeated "48 hours" of waiting turned into some productive time getting things done which needed to be finished.
During all of this, I got to thinking. This is how God takes care of a Christian. When we become a Christian, we are starting a brand new life! The old things go away and in comes the new. We may not completely understand everything that goes along with this so we start wondering and seeking answers. Sometimes, we don't find those answers from obvious places where we think we should so we keep looking and searching. Reading the Bible, praying and talking to church leaders are excellent ways to learn.
When I became a Christian, I remember thinking about how I could ever live like God wanted. After all, I was young and there is a whole universe to explore. Thankfully, it wasn't left up to me to "fine-tune" myself to become the Christian man that God wanted me to be.
God began "fine-tuning" me by working on areas of my life in a way like I did my websites. He will work on them and prune and work some more. Some times there are life events which God used to teach me how to be the man He wants me to be.
For some, the "fine-tuning" God does, doesn't take long. For whatever reason there might be, they are able to make the changes and get to the place they need to be faster than others. And, that's fine. For me, it takes longer, and I'm still trying to get there. It's not that I am such a horrible person that even God has a challenge with me, it just that way it is. I am a human. I could be a bit more stubborn than others too- don't ask my wife about that....
Along the way, I have been blessed to see how God has "fine-tuned" me over the years. As He continues to do so, I am looking forward to seeing what He will do.
The Christian life is the best life you will ever experience. No, it's not problem-free. Nor, is it perfect, but it is awesome to know God is there for me all along life's way. He's "fine-tuning," teaching, and leading me in the way I should go.
