Tomorrow, Sunday, March 11, begins Daylight Savings Time. I love this time of year of moving the clocks forward which causes there to be more hours of daylight at the end of the day.
I love because it makes scheduling dog photography clients easier since their humans often work and aren't available early day. Over the winter months, since the sunset is usually earlier, like 5 p.m., I have to schedule clients on Saturdays which can limit the time I get to spend with the dog.
For me, I love the sunlight so daylight savings time means the days are getting longer and longer and, well, longer which equates to more time outside. Longer days mean warmer days are on the way too. Which means more time outside too. My winter hibernation days will soon be over.
So, I don't get busy and forget tonight to change the clocks and sleep through church tomorrow, I start setting the clocks in the house which we don't use during the day, one-hour ahead especially the bedroom alarm clock. Also, an easy way to remember which direction to set your clock, I remember this simple poem, "Spring Forward, Fall Back!"
Daylight Savings Time Begins!
