Garden Perspectives - The $1 Plant

I spent $1 plus sales tax on lily plants a few years ago at the local garden center.  I was looking for something different and unique for my container garden but didn't want to spend much money.   About to give up and leave the area I was going to plant empty, when I came across the "Tiny Hope Asiatic Lily" on clearance for $1. They looked a bit sad, but spending the $1 and some green thumb- may work. I figured why not?!

This season, the plants are growing again. I expect them to bloom within the next few weeks.   I think it's pretty funny how the flowers turned out!
