2nd Annual Pottery and Photography Open House- Sat., Oct, 30, 2010

Looking for something to do next Saturday besides the usual Halloween stuff? Stop by the 2nd Annual Pottery and Photography Open House, 14712 Algretus Drive, Centreville, VA 20120, Saturday, October 30, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..

Last year's event was a lot of fun! We got to meet people on a more personal level. We had food looked like bloody fingers (Tammy loves Halloween) and other assorted things....We laughed ...... the best part was being able to meet you and get to know you better and answer questions about pottery or photography or at least try!

Tammy create's functional pottery designed to be used everyday in the home or at the office (you always need a coffee mug!). Her work is done in colors of beige, green, and blue and is beautiful. Her talent and passion for pottery shows in her work.

Me? You will see photographs of the unique beauty of nature, framed, unframed, matted and unmatted. Also, I create "Art Note Cards" with my images and will have those as well.

Fall in Northern Virginia

Fall. It's definately here. So. I'll enjoy the beautiful color of the season. And, maybe count the days to summer!

Fall's Colors

Admittedly, I always hate to see the summer end. When the last warm day is gone and fall's chilly weather is inevitable, I become a bit disappointed. Spring and summer are my seasons, especially the heat of summer. This year was no disappointment as we had record temps. most of the season.

As fall's chilly weather approaches, it does bring some beautiful colors with it. Over the next few blogs, I plan to share a few of my best images of the colors of fall. I hope you enjoy them...... let me know your favorite(s).
